The service for public health is being carried out by the UNFPA and the collaborative team.

It is learned that the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations (MIFER) will sign a letter of agreement on cooperation in public health care development projects.
Regarding this, Union Health Minister Dr Thet Khaing Win and the delegation led by Mr Ramanathan Balakrishnan, UNFPA Resident Representative to Myanmar, discussed on 24 July.
The letter of agreement will include matters such as collaborating in the health sector, providing medicine and medical equipment for reproductive healthcare activities, organizing courses for the development of healthcare, and the situation of collaborating on maternal and reproductive health activities in areas affected by Cyclone Mocha. The UNFPA is currently working together with relevant ministries on activities in Myanmar such as reproductive health, population and development, achieving gender equality, and taking censuses. — TWA/CT
