Healthcare activities conducted in An, Pyigyidagun townships

Officers from Western Command provide rice, edible oil and food items to local from Taungsauk village on An-Padan Road, An Township, Rakhine State yesterday.

A total of 58 local people and IDPs near the surrounding villages of Taungsauk village on An-Padan Road, An Township, Rakhine State, were provided necessary health care by the local medical team of the Western Command.
Officials from the command visited and encouraged the activities and provided 307 households from seven villages on the An-Padan Road with bags of rice, bottles of oil, and food items.
Similarly, a local medical team of the Central Command provided 27 local people, 57 nuns and 36 monks from Mogok Meditation Centre, Chanmya Thaya Ward, Pyigyidagun Township, Mandalay Region, with the necessary health checkups and treatment for hypertension, diabetes, respiratory disease, eye disease, dental disease, surgical measures, and general diseases.
At the same time, officials conducted health knowledge lectures for the local people. They carried out diagnostic tests using ECG and ultrasound, diabetes and blood sugar tests, and blood group classification for the people.
They also arranged for those who needed to be admitted to the hospital at the local military hospital. — MNA/KZL
