Bengalis rally for peace in Sittway Township

Bengalis from Sittway Township demonstrate at the rally in Sittway yesterday.

Some of 1,000 Bengalis, comprising both genders, from Bumay village and neighbouring villages peacefully demonstrated along the Bumay market road on the morning of April 20 in Bumay village, Sittway Township, Rakhine State.
During the demonstration, they held placards stating: “We do not want the NUG, AA insurgents who are destroying the peace and stability of the country. We do not want terrorist attacks, fighting, stop firing heavy weapons at residential areas and protect Sittway”. — MNA/TKO
