All the persons serving duties at the Tatmadaw of their own accord are discharging duties with patriotic spirit. As they joined the Tatmadaw of their own accord without exhortation of anyone, they have to take pride in their souls. As they are military leaders, they must have brave and sharp spirits and they have to live and control their subordinates in accord with leadership characters. They have to constantly make studies to improve their capacity, said Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing in meeting with senior officer instructors and female cadets from the Defence Services (Army) Officer Training School (Hmawby), trainees from the female platoon commander course and senior military officers from the local airbase at respective halls, yesterday afternoon, separately.
Turning out female military personnel and assigning them to various military corps of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air)
In his speeches, the Senior General said female military personnel have been serving duties at the Tatmadaw since 1958.
Except for those from medical services, other female military personnel could not be assigned for a period for various reasons. Currently, female military officers are serving at Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) and other military corps. Female other ranks are also turned out for the Tatmadaw.
The role of women and female human resources must be enhanced
The role of women must be deeply considered for human resources. Female military personnel need to take pride in their endeavours serving at the Tatmadaw of their own accord with patriotic spirit because it is difficult for even males to serve at the Tatmadaw. Those female military personnel must accept the life of military personnel since their training period and decide to serve the interests of the nation in their careers.

Efforts made to become good leaders by applying leadership knowledge
Officers, being military leaders, must have brave and sharp. They have to fairly control subordinates under the leadership characteristics. Cadets for female military officers were selected under the different steps of assessments as well as under the leadership qualification. They have to study, practise and comply with the leadership knowledge. They must strive for handing over the fine traditions of the Tatmadaw to a new generation of female military personnel in the future. While serving the duties, as their ranks will be different, they have to make vigorous efforts to accomplish their assignments.
The country needs to have stability and peace under political and security measures for the development of the nation. At present, peace talks are held for ensuring internal peace. It is necessary to restore peace to the whole nation by holding the election.
Emphasize self-improvement throughout their lives by maintaining strong spirits
Female military personnel must continuously maintain their strong spirit. They are able to dutifully serve not only at the Tatmadaw (Army) but at the Tatmadaw (Navy) and the Tatmadaw (Air). They should try hard to have military skills trained in the training courses and systematically serve their duties in their assigned areas.

It is necessary to restore peace to the whole nation by holding the election. If the election cannot be held, people from respective constituencies will lose their rights. Only when the general election can cover the whole nation, the multiparty democracy the people aspire can be implemented and the Union will be built under democracy and federalism. To do so, Tatmadaw members need to forge the soldier spirit for serving the respective assignments.
