On the night of 23 December, security forces entered the village of Kyauktan village in Myaung Township, Sagaing Region, arrested more than ten residents and forced them to pay ten thousand kyats each.
Regarding the news, according to an official from the relevant area, to prevent terrorists from entering the village, the security forces entered Kyauktan village on the night of 23 December. They found some items related to vandalism, but the residents were not arrested.
