Misinformation: Mone market allegedly set ablaze in Tatmadaw’s heavy weapon attacks

p4 fake news 3 1

Malicious media outlets have been spreading false information on social networking sites saying that the entire market of Mone, Kyaukkyi Township, Bago Region, was destroyed by heavy weapons of Tatmadaw on 20 December.
According to enquiries from officials and reports from residents, 210 of the 238 shops in the market were set on fire when a gas cylinder exploded in one shop in the market at 2:20 pm. Tatmadaw has never fired and attacked public places of residence and has constantly protected the lives and property of the people from the attacks of terrorists. All are the misinformation, as stated by Tatmadaw. — MNA/KZL
