MoC celebrates World Consumer Rights Day

The celebration ceremony for World Consumer Rights Day took place yesterday at the Consumer Affairs Department of the Ministry of Commerce in Nay Pyi Taw.
The Chairperson of the Myanmar Consumer Protection Commission Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn, Deputy Minister U Min Min, commission members, departmental officials, and invitees attended the ceremony.
The Union Minister, the deputy minister, and the acting director-general of the Consumer Affairs Department first opened the ceremony by cutting the ribbon, after which they toured the commemorative gallery.
The Union Minister then delivered an opening speech for the ceremony, and the acting director-general of the Consumer Affairs Department explained the objectives of celebrating World Consumer Rights Day.
Moreover, the Union Minister and the guests enjoyed the performances on how to settle complaints from consumers and the entertainment of the ceremony.
Additionally, the Union minister, the deputy minister, and officials awarded the winners of the competitions held in commemoration of World Consumer Rights Day and presented gifts to the performers. — MNA/TRKM
