MoC Deputy Minister inspects oil storage, distribution, maize, rice exports

Deputy Minister for Commerce U Min Min looks into the maize loading processes onto Hong Linh-1 and MV Pioneer Fortune at Ahlon Port on 17 February 2024.

Deputy Minister for Commerce U Min Min inspected Thilawa Port yesterday, and the official reported on the ongoing arrival of foreign oil tankers and storage and distribution systems.
Then, the deputy minister observed the oil quality checking processes, safety for consumers, and the local distribution system and instructed officials to distribute rice as per the fixed quality and not to cause a shortage.
He also met officials of the Myanmar Rice Federation at Sule Port. He inspected the rice loading processes onto MV Vega Granat, which will be exported under an in-bulk system by 11 companies.
He then headed to Ahlon Port and checked the maize loading processes onto Hong Linh-1 and MV Pioneer Fortune, which will also be exported under an in-bulk system.
In the same evening, the deputy minister went to Hteedan Terminal and inspected the storage of cooking oil, barrel filling process and distribution system, and left proper instructions. — MNA/KTZH
