MoC deputy minister inspects road/bridge projects in Ayeyaywady region

Deputy Minister for Construction U Win Pe met with staff from the Department of Buildings, Department of Highways, Department of Bridges, Department of Urban and Housing Development and the Department of Rural Road Development in Ayeyawady Region on 1 January.
The Deputy Minister and party also inspected the construction of the 9-storey annex of Pathein General Hospital and instructed officials to complete work on time and to pay attention to meet the set standard. In the afternoon, the Deputy Minister and party inspected the construction of Pammawadi Bridge (Myinkaseik) on Pathein-Kankon-Myinkaseik-Myaungmya Road.
Afterwards, they inspected the construction of Kyunkon bridge, concrete and asphalt road paving on the 18 ft wide Bogale-Mawlamyinekyun-Kyonmange Road (24/1-25/0), and the strength of Kyunpyathat bridge, Kywechanyekyaw bridge, and Dedaye bridge, the construction of Kungyangon detour and Tawpale Bridge at 1/3-1/5 mile.—MNA
