MoEPE Union Minister inspects power projects in Nay Pyi Taw

Union Minister of the Ministry of Electric Power and of the Ministry of Energy U Thaung Han inspected No (1) substation of the Department of Power Transmission and System Control and possible land for a solar power plant project in Nay Pyi Taw together with Deputy Minister for Electric Power Dr Aung Zeya yesterday.
On arrival at No (1) substation, the station in-charge reported on procedures, power distribution and transformer expansion. The Union minister then highlighted the successive power supply on full voltage to people, reduction of power losses, electronic devices maintenance, promotion and welfare of employees and agriculture and livestock breeding processed on vacant land of the substation.
He also inspected electricity distribution and transformer expansion processes in the switchyard and gave instructions to complete the operation in time.
Then, the Union minister and party went to the floating solar and ground-mounted solar power plant project area and relevant officials explained the project. The Union minister coordinated the necessary things and inspected the project site. — MNA
