MoFA Union Minister participates in opening session of 13th High-Level Roundtable Meeting co-organized by Government of Lao PDR, UNDP

At the invitation of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin participated in the opening session of the 13th High-Level Roundtable Meeting which was organized by the Government of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) through video conferencing on 17 November 2021.
At the opening session, Prime Minister of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic Mr Phankham Viphavanh and UNDP Administrator and Vice-Chair of the UN Sustainable Development Group Mr Achim Steiner delivered the keynote speeches respectively.
The 13th High-Level Roundtable Meeting was held to strengthen the partnership between the Government of the Lao PDR and its Development Partners as well as other relevant stakeholders with the aim of achieving effective outcomes on sustainable development.
Also present at the session with the Union Minister were the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Ambassador of Myanmar to the Lao PDR and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. —MNA
