MOGE initiates replacement of expired CNG cylinders for vehicle safety

The CNG Department under the Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE) of the Ministry of Energy is set to replace expired CNG cylinders in CNG vehicles with new ones, as reported.
The CNG Department has requested that CNG cylinders used in vehicles undergo checks and be utilized within the specified period. Once the expiry date is reached, the department will arrange for the cylinders to be replaced to ensure the safety of both drivers and passengers. The designated period for using CNG cylinders is 15 years.
A total of 41 CNG filling stations in the Yangon region, two in the Mandalay region, and three in the Magway region daily distribute 20 million cubic feet of CNG to 28,301 vehicles, according to the CNG Department. — TWA/MKKS
