MoH Union Minister receives UNFPA Resident Representative

Union Health Minister Dr Thet Khaing Win received a delegation led by Mr Ramanathan Balakrishnan, Resident Representative of the United Nations Fund for Population Activities in Myanmar, in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
They discussed matters related to cooperation in the health sector, the provision of drugs and medical supplies for reproductive healthcare activities, arrangements for conducting training courses on healthcare development and measures to be taken for maternal and reproductive health services in areas affected by Cyclone Mocha.
These topics are to be embodied in the letter of agreement to be signed between Myanmar’s Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations and the United Nations Fund for Population Activities. — MNA/KZW
