Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Soe Htut meets departmental officials at Bago Region Police Force office.

Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Soe Htut, member of State Administration Council inspected the Bago prison and met the officials of departments concerned under the ministry on Saturday.
During the visit, the Union Minister instructed the officials to keep the inmates in accordance with the prison rules, provide proper meals and examine the foodstuff by the inspection team. He also stressed the need to follow the COVID-19 health rules.
The Union Minister then met the officials of relevant departments affiliated with the ministry at the office of Bago Region Police Force yesterday.
During the meeting, he said the Ministry of Home Affairs mainly serves for security and it needs to have knowledge of security and the officials should regularly check the operations not to occur security breaches. He then gave instructions to officials to operate manageable scale livestock and breeding farms and follow the COVID-19 rules.
He also inspected the hand sanitizer and hand gel production processes of police at region Police Force compound and encouraged them to sell the products at fair prices to the public in addition to the police members.—MNA
