MoHA Union Minister inspects police officer training school in PyinOoLwin

MoHA Union Minister Lt-Gen Soe Htut views round the Police Officer Training School in PyinOoLwin yesterday.

Member of the State Administration Council Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Soe Htut, accompanied by Deputy Minister and Chief of the Myanmar Police Force Maj-Gen Zin Min Htet, inspected the Police Officer Training School in PyinOoLwin yesterday morning.
The Union minister and party inspected the E-library and the library, technology gallery, audio lab, demonstration room, trainees’ classrooms, computer lab room, school museum, four-storey classroom under construction, officers’ mess and the trainees’ training in tactical subjects.
During the inspection, the Union minister said that trainees should be trained to use the E-Library and library as the main place in teaching subjects. The training school offers books on the rule of law and law. Legal books need to be added more than now. It is necessary to train and demonstrate crime scene demonstration and training and to acquire the ability to make conclusion based not only on technology but also on ideas, he said.
He called on trainees to learn military tactics during the training and not to have mismanagement while performing their duties in the practical field and local security duties. He also mentioned keeping records of police officers who have obtained honorary awards at the school.
He also added the need to train trainees systematically in the field of tactical training to acquire military skills, the spirit of adventure, mine awareness and mine utilization skills, and to select good trainers who have practical experience.
Afterwards, the Union minister and party had lunch with the trainees of the Sub-Police Inspector Training Courses No. 107/2021 and 108/2022 at the trainee mess Hall of the Training School. — MNA
