MoHS calls for added-momentum in COVID-19 control operations

Union Minister for Health and Sports Dr Thet Khaing Win presided over a coordination meeting to accelerate the momentum in COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment activities yesterday.
During the meeting, the Union Minister said the people should follow the orders, notifications and requests of the ministry during the long public holidays. The respective regions/states health officials also need to cooperate with the regions/states administration councils to break the Chin of Transmission.
He then discussed oxygen production rate, mapping for oxygen needs under the coordination of central officials, proper medical treatment for emergency patients, duties of health workers to follow Infection Prevention and Control Guideline, exact name lists for COVID-19 vaccines and issuance of COVID-19 vaccination record cards.
He also stressed the need to apply the experience received in the first, second and third COVID-19 wave in medical services in the future.
Then, the respective regions and state health officials coordinated the discussion and the Union Minister instructed the necessary things. – MNA
