MoHT Union Minister inspects hotels in Nay Pyi Taw

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr Htay Aung inspected the hotels in the National Guesthouse Zone in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Moreover, the Union Minister met the officials of Nay Pyi Taw Hoteliers Association and Tourism Entrepreneurs Association at Mingala Thiri Hotel and gave instructions regarding efforts for shaping Nay Pyi Taw into a “Green City, Clean City, Smart City”, activities of the ministry to become Tourism Hub and cooperation work in cleaning operations to be conformed to the characteristics of the capital city.
He also focused on better hotel services as local/foreign travellers visit Nay Pyi Taw and the need to be immaculate hotel staff to become international standard hotels.
Then, officials of the departments concerned reported on the greening and cleaning operations along Yaza Thingaha road and hotel areas.
Being the capital city of the country, the ministry is making concerted efforts to share a good reputation as a model city of Myanmar with international visitors and to create a tour designation for local/foreign visitors. — MNA/KTZH
