MoHT Union Minister receives Bangladeshi Ambassador

The meeting 2/2024 of the Committee on Standization of National Costumes of National Race People in progress yesterday.

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr Thet Thet Khine met a delegation led by Dr Md Monwar Hossain, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Myanmar, at the ministry’s meeting hall yesterday morning.
They discussed reciprocal visits of travellers between both countries, cooperation between Myanmar, India, Nepal, and Bhutan to promote pilgrimages, trade and investment promotion, resumption of direct flights between Dhaka and Yangon, and strengthening mutual friendship and cooperation in tourism.
Deputy Minister U Phyo Zaw Soe, the permanent secretary, and officials of the ministry also attended the meeting. — MNA/MKKS
