Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn addresses the presentation session of the MTube video sharing and live streaming platform yesterday.

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn attended the presentation session of the United Info-Sec Company regarding the MTube video sharing and live streaming platform yesterday.
First, the Union minister said the ministry is making changes upholding the three objectives – to inform, entertain and educate in accordance with the demand of time. In doing so, new MRTV channels are launched and media sectors are also expanded online. The media is essential to all sectors and it needs to be applied properly. The ministry drafted the MRTV application and it was removed from the platform and this destroyed the rights of people to receive proper information. Despite challenges, the ministry is making efforts to fight false news and release true information using various ways.
Nowadays, the ministry’s news is restricted and removed on social media and it is bullying using technology. Therefore, arrangements are being made to invent an MTube live streaming platform like YouTube.
The Union minister continued that the ministry is responding to false news and information released by foreign media and media outlets that do not follow ethics.
He then exhorted the attendees to suggest providing the best services for the country and people in the educating, entertaining and informing sectors.
Afterwards, Director U Kyaw Swar Min of the United Info-Sec Company clarified the MTube video sharing and live streaming platform.
The participants then asked what they wanted to know and the director and officials of the company responded to the queries. — MNA
