MoI Union Minister welcomes MRTV’s new staff, honour staff who participate in academy event

Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn speaks on the fresher welcome occasion, honouring staff who participate in academy event, yesterday.

The Myanma Radio and Television-MRTV held a ceremony to welcome new staff and honour MRTV staff who participated in the Myanmar film academy awards ceremony at the Auditorium of MRTV in Tatkon of Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
First, the MRTV staff performed the “True Beauty of Diamond Jubilee, Forever MRTV” song.
Then, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn said the ministry is running as state-owned media and the MRTV is on its way to a standard media level that broadcasts state-level ceremonies, provides MCs for events and entertainment programmes and it is better than before. The new staff are welcomed and a large number of staff is required to implement the missions of the country’s media. The staff also should follow the rules and regulations and serve their duties with strenuous efforts.
The Myanmar film academy awards ceremony was held successfully and it is a sign of the collective efforts of staff from the ministry.
The ministry tries hard to be an active and modern centre and the staff should be proud of working as staff of MRTV that has high dignity for being state-owned media. Therefore, individuals should make efforts to promote the dignity of the department and country with their skills.
Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn gave certificates of honour and cash prizes for those who took part in the Myanmar film academy awards ceremony to MRTV Director-General U Ye Naing and Deputy Director-General U Win Thu.
The MRTV staff then entertained with opera and dance.
The Union minister and party had a documentary photo taken and gave cash prizes to the performers.
The Union minister and party inspected the Training Room and had lunch with staff and new staff at the office canteen.
The Union minister then observed the news broadcasting programmes at News Channel Studio, Aircon Chiller installation and staff housing of MRTV.
The capacity building training for 132 new staff will be conducted from 8 to 12 May and they will be given tectures on organizational set-up, objectives and work processes of Ministry of Information, MRTV, broadcasting programmes, civil service law, rules and ethics to be trained by Union Civil Service Board. — MNA/KTZH
