FSD performs preventive activities for storm disasters in various regions, states

The Fire Services Department under the Ministry of Home Affairs is accelerating preventive activities for relief, rescue and first-aid operations in the event of a storm in various regions and states.
Preventive activities such as rehearsal exercises are being conducted at fire brigades in Paukkhaung, Paungde, Thaegon, and Shwedaung townships in Bago Region, Kyaikto, Kyaikmaraw, Chaungzon, Bilin, Mawlamyine, Mudon, Ye, and Thanbyuzayat in Mon State, Palaw, Bokpyin, Launglon, and Thayetchaung townships in Taninthayi Region, Kyaukpyu and Sittway townships in Rakhine State, Dagon Myothit (East) and Shwepyitha townships in Yangon Region, and Myanaung and Ingapu townships in Ayeyawady Region. People in the respective townships, districts, regions, and states are being informed about the potential storm in order to be able to prevent damage that can be caused by it. — MNA/CT
