More than 2,500 people vaccinated against COVID-19 in Sagaing

More than 2,500 people, including monks and senior citizens over the age of 55 received the COVID-19 vaccine yesterday in Sagaing Region, according to the COVID-19 prevention, control and emergency response committee.
A total of 2,560 people were vaccinated in four different villages and two vaccination sites in the township. COVID-19 vaccination mobile team went to Ohntaw, Ywathitgyi, Nyaungpinwun, and Sartaung villages and carried out the immunization, and the people in Sagaing were inoculated in Sitagu Sangha Hospital and the City Hall, respectively.
Chairmen of the District and Township Administration Bodies and officials encouraged the immunization, and it is reported that the rest of the monks and nuns, and students over the age of 12 will continue to be vaccinated. — MNA
