MoST Union Minister inspects universities, institutes, schools in Meiktila Township

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw inspected the University of Computer Science (Meiktila), Government Technical High School (Meiktila), Government Technical Institute (Meiktila), Myanmar Aerospace Engineering University and Technological University (Meiktila) in Mandalay Region on 18 and 19 February.
On 18 February, the Union minister arrived at the University of Computer Science (Meiktila) and Government Technical High School (Meiktila).
During the meeting with the Deputy Rector, Principal, department head professor and teachers, the Union minister gave instructions regarding the quality learning, administrative matters, human resources development conditions, successive learning opportunities applying the ICT effectively. He then inspected classrooms, the computer room, equipment, teaching aid materials, libraries, workshops and practical sessions of the students.
The Union minister viewed the construction works at the Government Technical Institute (Meiktila) yesterday.
He then inspected teaching sessions, the computer room, equipment, teaching aid materials, libraries, workshops and practical sections of the students.
During the visit, the Union minister also instructed officials to plant trees during the monsoon for a better and clean image of universities, institutes and schools. — MNA
