MoTC Union Minister inspects affiliated departments

Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San inspected Myanma Port Authority, Inland Water Transport, Department of Marine Administration, Department of Water Resources and Improvement of River System, Sule Jetty, Asia World Jetty and Myanmar Industrial Jetty on 2 April.
In his inspection, the Union Minister met and comforted the departmental officials and provided food aids for the staff.
Then, the Union Minister said about the release of five future programmes of the State Administration Council after the declaration of the state of emergency under the 2008 Constitution to create a genuine and disciplined democratic system while solving the voting frauds. The unscrupulous persons intentionally staged riots and conducted arson attacks, including murders, to affect the government’s governance system. Although some civil service personnel join the CDM, they should follow the six disciplines of government employees. They should be the ones free from party politics in serving the duties. Those who lead the CDM will face actions, and the officials will also take action against them as per the civil service personnel law.
Moreover, the Union Minister stressed the need to urge the government employees to return to their duties by cooperating with the departments concerned not to face delays in the ministry’s operations.
Then, the Union Minister and party visited Sule, Myanmar Industrial and Asia World Jetties, and the respective jetties’ officials presented their work plans.—MNA
