MPT provides 100 minutes of free calls to aid disaster-hit Bago Region (East)

MPT announced that residents in the Bago Region (east), where telecommunication services were affected by natural disasters and floods, will receive 100 minutes of free calls between MPT phones.
Locals affected by natural disasters will receive an additional 100 minutes of free MPT calls from 11 to 17 to stay connected with their families and friends.
As of 1 pm on 10 October, telecommunication services have returned to normal in almost all townships except for some in Bago and Kawa.
MPT recognizes the importance of staying connected in challenging situations, and efforts are underway to restore communication services in the remaining townships in Bago and Kawa. — TWA/ KZW
