MRTV to broadcast alms-offering to Buddhist monks live

Mandalay Region government arranges auspicious ceremonies on the Kason Full Moon (Buddha Day) in accord with religious traditions. Starting from 6 am on 22 May 2024, meals and alms will be offered to 10,272 members of the Sangha, 2,568 on each side of the moat at Mandalay Royal Palace.
MRTV-HD Channel, MRTV Parliament Channel, MWD-HD, MWD-Variety, MWD Education, Knowledge & Sports Channel, Channel LIGHT Channel, Sky Net Buddha Channel and Channel -9 will broadcast the ceremony live. — MNA/TTA
