Myanma Railway runs Mandalay-Nay Pyi Taw- Ywarthagyi freight train

Damaged rails are being repaired by Tatmadaw members, police and Myanma Railways workers.

The Mandalay-Nay Pyi Taw-Ywarthagyi Road No. (924) down freight train and two freight trains, RBE 25100 and RBE 25107, started running from Mandalay Central Station in the morning on 17 March.
The No. (924) freight train departing from Mandalay connected 19 trucks and one break at Thazi station and arrived in Nay Pyi Taw at 9:30 pm. The train left Nay Pyi Taw at 7 am on 18 March and arrived at Pyuntanza station at 9:15 pm. The train came to its destination Ywarthagyi at 5:15 pm yesterday.
During the journey, it was found that terrorists removed two rails of the railway and 19 concrete sleepers and 38 rail control clips around Milestone (320/1), and six rail control clips between Shwehlay and Bago stations. Tatmadaw members, police and Myanmar Railway workers had to conduct repair work.
Myanmar Railways will take legal action against the perpetrators of such acts and sabotage at the relevant local police station.—MNA
