Myanmar allocates capex budget for Hluttaw renovation

According to the Ministry of Construction, the Presidential Retreat, Hluttaw buildings, and associated structures located within the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw compound in Nay Pyi Taw will be renovated with the Capital Expenditure Budget (Capex budget) of this financial year.
The body of maintaining Hluttaw and associated structures has invited tender for renovation works of Hluttaw with the Capex budget of the 2024-25 FY.
The renovation and maintenance tender involves the renovation of ceramic tiles and roof slabs of buildings A as well as I-2, I-3, I-5, I-6, I-10, I-13, I-14, I-15, I-16, and I-19.
The following works include painting the external walls of the G building (Presidential Retreat), renovating and painting the bell-shaped walls of the portico, polishing the wooden ceilings, inspecting and refurbishing the glass walls of buildings C, F, I-1, I-5, I-6, I-7, I-11 of the Pyithu Hluttaw, and expansion and installation of IP CCTV cameras within the Hluttaw compound for tightened security.
Tender forms for the abovementioned maintenance works can be bought at the relevant divisions of the ICT-2 of the body of maintaining Hluttaw and associated structures. — TWA/TMT
