Myanmar attends investment & business opportunities meeting in Viet Nam

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has reported that Myanmar participated in a meeting on investment and business opportunities held on 8 March in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province, Viet Nam.
U Soe Ko Ko, Charge d’affaires ad interim to Viet Nam, represented Myanmar at the event upon the invitation of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Before the meeting commenced, U Soe Ko Ko met Mr Cao Tuong Huy, President of the People’s Committee of Quang Ninh Province. During their discussion, U Soe Ko Ko proposed enhancing bilateral cooperation in commerce and trade, agriculture, tourism, and garment exports in anticipation of the 50th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations next year.
The event was also attended by ambassadors and commercial attaches from foreign embassies in Hanoi. — ASH/TMT
