Myanmar, Brazil discuss collaboration in technology, sports and culture

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that on 12 February, Myanmar and Brazil discussed closer collaboration in technology, sports, and culture.
The discussion occurred when U Aung Kyaw Zan, Myanmar’s Ambassador to Brazil, met Mr Gustavo Rocha de Menezes, Brazilian Ambassador to Myanmar, at the latter’s residence in Yangon.
During the meeting, both ambassadors exchanged views on fortifying the existing friendship between Myanmar and Brazil. They also discussed the agreement signed by the two countries for technological collaboration, promoting bilateral cooperation within the ASEAN-Brazil Practical Cooperation Areas, exploring opportunities for collaboration in bilateral trade, investment, health, agriculture, sports and culture, renewable energy, natural environment conservation, climate change, and the enhancement of mutual understanding not only between the peoples but also between the governments of the two countries. — ASH/TMT
