ASEAN-Prague Committee donates food to Czech Federation of Food Banks

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), the ASEAN-Prague Committee, based in Prague City, the Czech Republic, made its fourth donation of foodstuffs to the Czech Federation of Food Banks on 7 February.
Dr Htun Naung, the charge d’affaires ad interim of the Myanmar Embassy, attended the donation ceremony alongside heads of embassies from ASEAN member countries.
During the ceremony, Ambassador of Malaysia Ms Suzilah Binti Mohd Sidek, the alternate chairman of the ASEAN-Prague Committee, explained that the annual donation of foodstuffs by ASEAN countries to the Czech Federation of Food Banks aims to foster mutual understanding and assistance between the peoples of the Czech Republic and ASEAN nations.
Mr Aleš Slavíček, the Czech Federation of Food Banks president, expressed gratitude for the donation. — ASH/TKO
