Myanmar delegation on study tour of Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), Power Machines and Konstantinovsky Palace in St Petersburg

Accompanied by Myanmar Ambassador to Russia U Lwin Oo and officials, the Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Electric Power U Thaung Han and Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw, currently in the Russian Federation, studied Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), power machines and Konstantinovsky Palace in Saint Petersburg on 17 November.
On arrival at Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), the Myanmar delegation led by the Union Ministers was greeted by the plant manager and officials. And the factory manager, Lavrentiyev Pavel and officials explained information on the management of the facility, research work and conditions used in sectors such as pharmaceutical manufacturing on nuclear technology and environmental safety issues.
After that, the Myanmar delegation led by the Union Ministers studied the Leningrad Metal Machine of Power Machines. The plant assistant manager Ivan Grosse presented about the plant. Then, the delegation asked back and studied the production of power generators in the factory.
Finally, the Myanmar delegation arrived at the Konstantinovsky Palace and they looked around the palace. — MNA
