Myanmar engages in India-ASEAN Trade Summit 2024 for healthcare and education cooperation

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Myanmar participated in the India-ASEAN Trade Summit 2024 in Bengaluru, Karnataka State, India, on 16 February, focusing on promoting healthcare and education cooperation between Myanmar, India, and ASEAN.
U Moe Kyaw Aung, Myanmar Ambassador to India, represented Myanmar at the summit and delivered a presentation titled “India-Myanmar Relations Analysis of the Emerging Education & Helthcare System and its Role in Society”.
During his presentation, he highlighted the collaborative efforts between the two countries in the education and healthcare sectors, as well as the government’s initiatives aimed at enhancing socio-economic development for the citizens.
The participants engaged in discussions regarding the challenges and best practices in the education and health sectors, as well as explored potential avenues for mutual cooperation between Myanmar-India and ASEAN-India. — ASH/TMT
