Myanmar handicrafts shine at International Gift Show in Tokyo

The booth of Asia Crafts Link which employs Japanese technology to produce Myanmar handicrafts using wood and bamboo from Myanmar.

Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Japan U Soe Han visited the 96th Tokyo International Gift Show Autumn 2023 on 7 September at the invitation of Asia Crafts Link which sells Myanmar handicrafts in Japan.
The Ambassador also visited the booth of Asia Crafts Link which employs Japanese technology to produce Myanmar handicrafts using wood and bamboo from Myanmar.
The show held from 6 to 8 September is among Japan’s largest international trade shows for personal gifts and household goods and has been scheduled to convene two times a year since 1976. It has been held more than 90 times over the past 50 years and has been highly acclaimed by visitors as a trade show where attractive products of various genres are gathered under one roof. The recent show attracted more than 3,000 companies from 25 countries. — ASH/TH
