Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant received Indian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Vinay Kumar at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
During the meeting, both sides discussed strengthening friendship, development of border trade and tourism sectors, plans to improve transport sector for smooth and swift flow of commodities for development of socioeconomic life of the people, various areas of cooperation, including the development of border trade, and enhancement of human resources for sending engineering scholarship students for upgrading roads, bridges, urban and housing sector. — MNA/KZW
