Myanmar, Japan sign MoU for youth and women’s football development

The Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the morning of 22 May in Nai, Japan to cooperate with the Japan Football Association (JFA), for the development of the youth and women’s football plus the betterment of academy schools and youth team competitions.
The Myanmar Football Federation President U Zaw Zaw and Japan Football Association President Tsuneyasu Miyamoto signed the MoU.
The agreement provides that both sides will maintain the cooperation in technical development between the two football federations, the improvement of the refereeing sector, women’s football development, and youth development activities for an initial period of three years.
With the support of the Ayeyawady Foundation, the Myanmar youth U-12 team will go to compete in the U12 International Invitational Youth Tournament, where Barcelona, Juventus and Japan J League youth clubs will participate. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
