Myanmar Sepaktakraw Federation to train young generation players

Young athletes were being trained Sepaktakraw at Institute of Sports and Physical Education (Yangon) in 2021.

For encouraging new honourable players of the country, Myanmar Sepaktakraw Federation will train young generation players.

For male athletes, age must be under 18 and parents’ permission is required; height must be above 5ft and 10inches for servers, above 5ft and 8 inches for strikers and above 5ft and 6 inches for feeders but the height limit will be reduced depending on skill.

For female athletes, age must be under 16 and parents’ permission is required; height must be 5ft and 7 inches for servers, above 5ft and 5 inches for strikers, and above 5ft and 3 inches for feeders but the height limit will be reduced depending on skill.

Candidate selection is scheduled to take place in the second week of May and selected ones will be provided accommodation, foods, sports accessories and monthly financial support, as well as education opportunities will be also assisted.
