The third-place match and final of the Continental Futsal Championship 2023, a futsal tournament invited by Thailand, was held in Thailand yesterday and the Myanmar team lost in the third place match.
Team Myanmar suffered 1-5 defeat to Afghanistan in the match, missing a chance to hold the bronze medal.
The Myanmar team took the lead but could not maintain the winning result. Nyein Min Soe scored the leading goal for team Myanmar, but had to concede two goals in the first half.

The Myanmar National Futsal Team participated in this tournament as preparation for the 2024 Asian Cup Futsal Qualifiers to be played in coming October.
