8th Myanmar Lethwei World Championship to be launched in Yangon

The 8th Myanmar Lethwei World Championship comprising six bouts will be held in Theinbyu Gymnasium in Yangon on 20 August.
In the five-round bouts, Tun Tun Min will battle with Thway Thit Win Hlaing under the 80-kg category while Tun Min Latt (Myanmar) will face Kohei Tokeshi (Japan) under the 75-kg category.
Next, Avatan (Thailand) will challenge Kyaw Swa Win (Myanmar) in the 71-kg event and Sein Lon Chaw will take on Moe Htet Aung in the 63-kg event.
In the four-round bouts, Hanthawady will fight against Sito under 65-kg category while Thaing Kyaw will come up against Wudawdo in the 54-kg event.
The championship will begin at 2 pm and will be broadcast live on Skynet Sports 4 / HD channel. Ticket prices are set at K10,000, K20,000 and K50,000, as stated by the organizers. — Bala Soe/KZL
