Myanmar squad selected for Asian Cup U-17 qualifiers

Myanmar U-16 national team head coach U Aung Zaw Myo announced on 27 September that the final 23 players who will compete in the 2023 Asian Cup U-17 qualifiers have been selected.
Team Administrator U Tin Myint Aung, head coach U Aung Zaw Myo, assistant coach U Paw Tun Kyaw and U Aya Maung, and Goal Coach U Myo Kyaw Thu will handle the team.
Goalkeepers Salai Antbwe Maung, Sai Thiha Naing, Kaung Kin Kyel, Defenders Lin Htet Oo, Thura Zaw, Nay Lin Htet, Thet Naing Oo, Myat Bhone Khant, Nay Lin Tun, Kaung Khant Zaw, Kaung Htet, Nay Min Htet, Midfielders Han Tun Zaw, Myo Htet Oo, Khun Cho Htoo, Wai Hlyan Shine, Myo Min Khant, Aung Kaung Myat, Aung Zaw Myo, and Strikers Pyae Sone Aung, Shine Wunna Aung, Htoo Wai Yan, and Saw Myo Zaw will participate in the team ahead of the qualifiers.
The Myanmar U-16 team that will compete in the qualifiers consists of outstanding players from Myanmar football academies, and youth stars from various regions and states, officials said.
The 2023 Asian Cup U-17 Qualifier will be held from 1 to 9 October, and the team Myanmar will be in Group D against Saudi Arabia, India, Kuwait, and the Maldives. The group matches will be hosted by Saudi Arabia. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
