It is reported that Myanmar women’s national team striker Win Theingi Tun has started joining Thai club College of Asian Scholars.
As the third foreign club, Win Theingi Tun left for Thailand on 17 February to play for the College of Asian Scholars, a top Thai women’s club, and has already started training.
The College of Asian Scholars Association signed Win Theingi Tun on a one-season contract, and will only join the Myanmar national women’s team when it is about to compete in international competitions.
The College of Asian Scholars team is the team that Khin Malar Tun, the captain of the Myanmar national women’s team, previously played.
This year, along with Win Theingi Tun, the team officials tried to recruit Khin Malar Tun again, but it didn’t work out.
Win Theingi Tun played for the Indian club Gokulam from October 2021 to May 2022, and after half of 2022, he played for the Indian club Lords FA and achieved success. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
