Myanmar, UAE club tie 2-2 in international friendly match

The Myanmar U-23 team trained in the UAE in preparation for the 2022 AFC U-23 Championship drew 2-2 with the UAE first division club Al Jazeera Al Hamra FC in an international friendly football match played in Dubai on 24 October.
The Myanmar U-23 team played its first international match since training camp for the Asian Cup and garnered the draw result against the strong team.
As it was the last preparation for the upcoming Asian Championship, Myanmar U-23 head coach Popov used main players and made many substitutions to test their skills.
The Myanmar U-23 team trained in Dubai from 21 to 24 October and left the UAE for Kyrgyzstan on the evening of 25 October.
The Asian Cup U-23 Championship (I) matches will be held in Kyrgyzstan from 27 October to 2 November and Myanmar is included in the same group with China Taipei and Viet Nam teams. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
