Kun Khmer Fight will be held in Cambodia on 29 February, so Myanmar’s Lethwei Icon and Myanmar’s Lethwei World Champions Tun Tun Min and former rival Cambodia’s current champion, Kun Khmer star fighter Prom Samnang, will battle it out in traditional Kun Khmer rules.
Prom Samnang, the current Kun Khmer champion, competed against traditional Lethwei king Tun Tun Min in the 32nd ASEAN SEA Games hosted by Cambodia in 2023. He defeated Tun Tun Min by points and won the gold medal.
The Cambodian star fought against Myanmar’s Lethwei fighter Shwe Rahman in Cambodia and won by knockout on 9 February 2024.
Prom Samnang also faced against another Lehtwei star fighter Dave Leduc in a friendly fight last year and finished as a tie bout. — Pwint Thitsar/KZL
