Narcotic drugs seized in Yamethin, Hline townships

A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force searched a motorbike driven by Nyein Chan Aung (aka) Boke Si near Shwemyintin village of Yamethin Township at 4 pm on 23 May and seized 1,000 stimulant tablets.
Acting on a tip-off, police searched his house in Indine village in Yamethin Township at 4:20 pm and captured 3,400 stimulant tablets. Police searched the house of Sithu Aung (aka) Chit Phu in Indine village of Yamethin Township at 4:45 pm and captured 1,800 more stimulant tablets.
Similarly, the police force searched Myo Min Tun (aka) Hamid on 3rd Zeyatheindi Street in Ward 1 of Hline Township at 2 pm on 24 May and seized 1,200 stimulant tablets.
They are charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA/MKKS
