National Unity and Peace Coordination Committee meets officials of DKBA, KNU/KNLA-PC separately

The meeting between the National Unity and Peace Coordination Committee and the Democratic Karen Benevolent Army-DKBA in progress.

The National Unity and Peace Coordination Committee held a discussion with DKBA (Democratic Karen Benevolent Army) in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Committee Chairman Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and DKBA’s Saw Mo Shay respectively made greeting remarks during the meeting. Similarly, the Committee continuously discussed with KNU/KNLA-PC in the afternoon.
Committee Chairman Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and Secretary-General Naw Kapaw Htoo of (KNU/KNLA-PC) made remarks during this meeting.
During the meetings, the National Unity and Peace Restoration Committee secretary explained the implementation work of the SAC peacemaking committee. The officials of DKBA and KNU/KNLA-PC clarified the peace processes and regional development programmes.
The meetings also focused on peace processes in line with NCA, inter-village roads for regional development, the establishment of factories and industries to create job opportunities for the local populace and family members of troops, including the matters related to education, health issue and agriculture. —MNA
