Nay Pyi Taw Zone team crowns in football event of Inter-Technological & Computer University Sports Competition

Nay Pyi Taw Zone team clinched a title with a 2-1 win over the Meiktila Zone team in the final football tournament match at the Inter-Technological and Computer University Sports Competition.
The final match took place at Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday, attended by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
From the start of the match, both sides put pressure on football possession against each other. In the 44th minute, Nay Pyi Taw Zone led the game with an opening goal through a penalty kick. In the 62nd minute, the Meiktila Zone team took an equalizer, but the Nay Pyi Taw Zone team scored one more goal in the 65th minute to control the match till the final whistle.
SAC members awarded outstanding players in their respective positions.
SAC members Admiral Tin Aung San and General Mya Tun Oo presented individual medals and cash awards to the third prize-winning Magway Zone and second prize-winning Meiktila Zone. Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo gave individual medals to players from champion Nay Pyi Taw Zone.
The Senior General presented cash awards and a championship trophy to the first prize-winning Nay Pyi Taw Zone team and cordially greeted players.
The spectators were Union-level dignitaries, Union ministers, senior military officers, deputy ministers and officials. — MNA/TTA
