Nearly 1,000 people vaccinated against COVID-19 in Monywa

A total of 990 people were provided with the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine yesterday in Monywa Township, Sagaing Region.
The Ministry of Health is conducting the COVID-19 immunization to the target groups including the people over the age of 55, and this is the second batch that the vaccines are administered in Monywa Township.
Yesterday, a total of 422 men and 568 women were vaccinated against the COVID-19 disease at four respective vaccination sites in Monywa Township, according to the Township COVID-19 Control and Emergency Response Committee.
Healthcare workers, relevant department officials and volunteers worked together for the vaccination process in line with the COVID-19 rules and regulations set by the Ministry of Health. — IPRD/GNLM
