New postage stamp to be on sale on 9 October

Myanma Post under the Ministry of Transport and Communications will issue a new K200 postage stamp with a picture of a white-throated babbler called “Swae” bird in Myanmar. It is a species of bird endemic to Myanmar, according to the record of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation.
The new postage stamp will be sold simultaneously at the Central Post Office in Nay Pyi Taw, the General Post offices in Yangon and Mandalay and other post offices in regions and states at 9:30 am on 9 October.
As a special programme, the date will be sealed on the postage stamps purchased at the Central Post Office in Nay Pyi Taw and General Post offices in Yangon and Mandalay on 9 October, it is reported. – MNA
