New project of Gyaing Bridge (Zarthabyin) to benefit people

The new Gyaing (Zarthabyin) Bridge is located on the Indu-Zarthabyin-Mawlamyine highway. It is 2,614 feet long, 68 feet wide of four lanes.
It is a type of three-span steel cable-stayed concrete bridge with a 1.0 km access road.
The bridge is connecting cities such as Mawlamyine, Indu, Hpa-an, Kawkareik, and Myawady, and the completion of the new bridge will make it easier and faster for traffic and goods to flow.
Education, health, social business and trade affairs will be better due to the bridge, which will also greatly contribute to the development of the social life of the ethnic people.
Chief Minister U Saw Myint Oo of the Kayin state government, accompanied by cabinet ministers and departmental officials inspected the construction of the new Gyaing (Zarthabyin) Bridge on the morning of 24 January.
Afterwards, U Myo Win, Project Engineer and U Wai Phyo, Assistant Director of Bridge Task Force (14) gave a detailed presentation on the construction work of the Gyaing (Zarthabyin) Bridge via PowerPoint for the bridge works to be carried out in Kayin State during the six-month budget period from October 2021 to March 2022.
The chief minister asked questions and coordinated the necessary matters.
Afterwards, the state chief minister and party inspected the 9-inch-thick concrete paving work at 7/4 Shwe Taw Junction of Kaw Kyaik-Kaw Paran-Zarthabyin Strait Road, which is operated by AK Co. Ltd under the BOT system.
Next, the state chief minister and officials inspected the 14-foot-wide concrete road paved by Perfect Mother Co. Ltd on the one-mile and four furlongs long road from Hpa-an Township Rural Road Development Department and instructed officials to complete it within six months.
Afterwards, the state chief minister and party inspected the site of the junction upgrade work to be carried out by the State Development Affairs Committee and the construction of the entrance to the town and gave necessary instructions. — Saw Myo Min Thein (IPRD)/GNLM
