Nurture student youths under youth development plans

Youths possess the future society and they are resources of the State to build the future society. Correct nurturing of the youths will turn out highly-qualified human resources who can shape the future State. Hence, it is necessary to nurture the youths to have five kinds of capacity to become State builders.
Daily newspapers as well as various media such as television channels show active movements of youths in regions and states under the youth development programmes this year. Outstanding students under the supervision of teachers started their excursions to relevant recreation camps in the 2022-2023 academic year to refresh their minds and take relaxations due to making hard work for their learning periods.
Those outstanding students were selected at different levels. As they are outstanding in relevant academic matters as well as general knowledge. After passing physical fitness, general knowledge and personality tests, the students were selected as outstanding students this year. Hence, they are valuable for their families, schools and residences as well as for the State.
In implementing the youth development projects, relevant sorts of training such as youth maritime courses and youth aviation courses at basic and advanced levels are being conducted in regions and states starting from 24 April. Currently, 712 female and male youth trainees are under training at 11 camps in Yangon, Ayeyawady, Taninthayi and Mandalay regions and Rakhine, Mon and Shan states. Meanwhile, a total of 680 trainees are being trained at 17 camps in Mandalay, Magway, Sagaing, Yangon, Bago, Taninthayi and Ayeyawady regions and Kachin, Shan and Mon states.
These training courses aim to nurture the youths to have experience and knowledge related to maritime and aviation and to become new generation youths to be able to easily conduct further studies in the aforesaid knowledge. Similarly, English proficiency, spoken English, computer, domestic science, sports courses as well as cultural courses will help the youths have knowledge and skills to be applied in the present arenas as part of efficiently spending time during the long summer holidays.
In truth, the minds of youths are soft and tender. Their physical and mental natures can be shaped as expected. Hence, the government, officials, parents and teachers have to nurture the youths to become valuable ones for the State. Thanks to their nurturing, student youths will have the confidence to shape not only the future of Myanmar society but their lives. If so, it is sure that the future of the nation will be in harmony with the new generation of youth.
